The Natural Language Processing & Portuguese-Chinese Machine Translation Laboratory (NLP2CT Lab) will host the 2025 Workshop on Multilinguality in the Age of Large Language Models on Wednesday, July 16, 2025, to celebrate the lab’s 15th anniversary.
Under the theme “From Words to Worlds: Machine Translation Innovation in the Era of Large Language Models,” the workshop will focus on cutting-edge research in large language models (LLMs), breakthroughs in multilingual technologies, low-resource machine translation, and industrial applications. The event will be chaired by Prof Derek Wong, founder of the NLP²CT Lab and faculty member at Faculty of Science and Technology. Distinguished academic scholars, industry experts, and alumni of the lab will share their latest research findings and practical insights. We welcome all participants to join this engaging workshop and benefit from the discussions.
